Caccamo is a medieval Sicilian town in the province of Palermo, located on a rocky outcrop at the foot of Monte San Calogero that offers many interesting places to visit to spend an unforgettable day. Walking through the XIII century streets of the old town you can visit most of the churches (as many as thirty-three) rich in works of art and the largest castle in Sicily overlooking the lake Rosamarina. The landscape that this town offers is varied; in fact, you can admire landscapes and breathtaking views ranging from the sea to the mountains, breathing clean air and away from the most famous and crowded places in Sicily.
The main attraction of Caccamo is the medieval castle, which dominates the entire village and is an obligatory stop because it offers tourists a tour rich in history and is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved castles in all of Sicily and with many rooms that can be visited and embellished by the many noble families who lived there.
