Agrigento

Located on a plateau overlooking the sea, near the Hypsas and Agragas rivers and a ridge to the north that acts as a natural fortification, Agrigento was founded in the VI century BC. from the Greek colonizers arrived from Gela.

This 8-hour excursion also includes a short stop for a coffee (not included in the tour price) along the road to Agrigento, before arriving at the Valley of the Temples. Visit the Temples of Hera, Concordia and Apollo and the villa of Hardcastle with the help of a paper guide that will give you more information about the sites.

After that, you will have some free time to choose a place for lunch, before leaving for the Archaeological Museum of Agrigento.

After exploring the museum’s collections, you will leave to go back to Palermo.
